There were many repercussions of the Black Power Movement. Many of the participants attempted to achieve their goals on a more violent term. They believed that if no one would give them their rights then they would fight for it themselves. The blacks fought back against the whites and people could capture every detail on media, positive or negative. This created a bad reputation for the blacks, and people were started to feel indifferent for them.
Since the Black Panthers were always so violent and carried around their weapons out in the open the police and the FBI always were on them and the black panthers were always their target.
